Return and refund policy for paid services
This document explains the cooling windows, evidence we may need, the effect of a chargeback, and the difference between a digital file you already used and a live session you never entered, when we sell something beyond the free public pages.
What this return policy is tied to, and what sits outside it
Business and contact. This return and refund policy is published by Zlexironflox, 1500 Lexington Ave, New York, NY 10029, United States, for paid offers that we may sell through this domain or a checkout link we name on the same brand. A separate contract, a signed statement of work, a grant rule, an enterprise order form, or a public procurement path can change the return story for that case only, and, if a line in such a tool conflicts, the more specific, signed, or law-forced part wins, not this general web file alone.
Not inside this box. A donation without a return benefit, a pure tip jar, a government fee we pass through, a product you did not buy from us but from a marketplace we only linked to, and a bet or a high-risk speculator ticket, if we ever joked about one on a private page, are not the kind of “purchase” this policy talks about, because the law and the network rules for those are different, and a single studio policy should not pretend to be a code of every industry.
Language. The policy is in U.S. English, but it tries to be friendly to a reader in the EU, UK, or any state with a strong online-consumer rule, by naming windows and reasons in a way a court can map to a long local article without us pasting a whole statute, which would go stale. If a later official translation exists, the New York U.S. English text still controls, unless a law where you live makes a local consumer translation the only one you can enforce against a branch there, which is not the current structure for a single U.S. site.
The kinds of “service” and “product” we have in mind
Workshops and group calls. A time-boxed, calendar-based time where you and others meet us on a line we set, in person or in a room online, to walk through a planned outline. The return window often turns on the moment start time passes without you, not on a random feeling days later, because a seat in a small room has a real, lost chance cost for the rest of the group, unless a force-majeure note applies as we describe in the live-sessions part.
Digital guides, file packs, and a private page. A download, a long article behind a key, a template pack, a sound that is not a medical device, a checklist you may print, or a password link that unlocks a folder. A “defect” here means a link that 404s for everyone, a file with a wrong checksum, a sound that is silent on a normal system, or a key that is never issued after a paid signal, not a mismatch between a subjective hope and a calm text we said was general.
Future hybrid. If we ship a book with a code for an online add-on, the book may follow a carrier’s lost-package rule, while the add-on may follow a digital part; the checkout will try to make that split legible, if we ever do it, which is a forward-looking line, not a current promise to stock paper.
“Used” in a fair sense
When we say a digital file is “used” for return purposes, we mean a download beyond a free preview, a long stream past a test clip, a print of the whole work, or a key redemption that unlocks a full run, not a single accidental click, if a log can show a quick bounce.
“Service started” for law
Some laws say a consumer cannot cancel “after a service is fully performed,” or, for digital, after consent and a start. We still offer good-will in narrow cases, but this card exists so you can line our words to that idea when you read your own state sheet with a person who knows your file.
Live sessions, weather, and a fair rescheduling lane
Withdraw before the door. If you write to the published email, with a clear title and your order or invoice id, at least two full U.S. business days before a listed start for a public small-group or open-enrollment class, and if we have not already sent you a one-of-a-kind prep pack we cannot reuse, you can receive a full refund to the same payment path, or a full credit to a different open date, your choice, unless a very rare “non-refundable deposit” line was printed in a bold, separate line at checkout, in which case only the rest is refundable, if any.
Inside the last two business days, or a no-show when you could have told us you were ill. A partial credit may still be a fair outcome if we can place someone on a wait list, or if we are able to re-run the same hour as a one-on-one make-up, but that is a discretion case, not a right you can count on, because the staff time is real. A weather closure or a public transit collapse that a reasonable person in New York can verify may push everyone to a new date, with no new fee, because that is not a personal change of mind.
Large, custom, or in-house for a company. A multi-day, white-label, on-site, or NDA-tied path will use a private schedule, a true-up after travel cost, a kill fee, and a clear “what happens if a single participant drops” line in the written order. The web return page is a back stop; the private paper is the front line. If a firm signs a no-refund for a set slot after a long prep, that paper can hold, to the line the local consumer rule allows.
Digital goods: defect path, the honest preview rule, and bundle splits
Within two weeks of the first successful payment, if you can show, with a few screen images or a short, normal recording, that a file will not open in a current, unmodified reader we list, or a link we issue is a dead 404 to every tester on our side, you can ask for a fix first. We will then try a new link, a re-encoded file, or a credit if the fix cannot land in a few business days. If a fix is not possible, a full or fair partial refund, tied to the share of the pack that is bad, can follow, because that is a true defect path, not a “I changed my mind” path.
After a clear, separate consent line for a digital “start now, lose the EU withdrawal right in some cases” flow, a heavy personal use can close a broad withdrawal window under some EU laws, and we will respect a narrow reading of that, while you still have the defect and anti-fraud help above. A bundle may show a per-part price or a pro-rata, so a refund is not a guess when only one of four files is off.
Chargebacks, fraud, and good faith. If a bank takes money back in a way that blinds us, we may need to show delivery logs, your click path, a signed preview consent, and a file hash, to the bank, not the whole public web, to defend a true charge. We will not add a new “revenge” fee, but a pattern of abuse can lead to a close of future sale, a block at network edge, and, if a law is broken, a referral to a public office.
A short shelf, if a physical good exists later
Carriers lose boxes; winter hurts paper. A return for a new, resalable, still-sealed good in its real box, with a return label we issue or a clear proof you used our label, can follow a 30-day path from the day you or a gift you name received it, minus a real restock fee if we said so, or minus the loss if a drop broke the work because a shipper you picked did not take care. A book with a “open at your own” seal may get a stricter line if we ever print a limited run, which we will put on the product page, not in a small foot note you never saw. If a law where you are gives you a second thought window, the longer, clearer local rule is an extra, not a replacement for a broken-goods or injury path, which is not the kind of return this studio page can fully handle without an insurer, so read the safety sheet that ships with a real product.
The thread we need to work your request without a long back-and-forth
Send to contact@zlexironflox.world with a subject that starts “Refund:” and then a short id or date. In the first note, add: the email you used, the day you paid, the last four digits of a card, or a last-four for a bank path, a one-line “what you want: refund, credit, or fix first,” a link to the offer page if you still have it, and a file name if the case is a digital one. A phone +1 212-289-3846 is for a human to walk you, not a full proof place for a card number; never send a full number in email.
We will answer in a few business days in a normal week, a little longer in a public holiday clump, and we will not ask you to send a notarized paper for a $10 book, if we ever have one, but we may for a $10,000 custom path, and that is not a bad joke; it is a size split. A refund to the first path, when the bank and our processor allow, often lands in one to two weeks on your side, while the bank and the long weekend do not read our policy.
If you already called your bank, read this with care
When a chargeback is open, a parallel, slow refund in our system can create a true double return. In that case we may need to re-charge a fair, proved net, to stay whole, in line with a bank’s and a court’s way to fix a true mistake, not a fear story. A fast talk with us first, when you think a line item is a fraud, often clears the air faster than a long bank fight for a true family mix-up, when the card and the name do match and the work did ship.
A note for a reader in the EEA, UK, or a like place
Even when we are a U.S. firm, a remote sale in your home can bring your strong consumer right into play, including a one-click dispute flow for some EU “online” contracts, a short mirror page in a local language, if we have one, and a way to a human at a public center when an own-talk path fails, without losing a court, if a law says a center can’t bind you. This section is a map, not a case note for your life; a local counsel can name the one article that may apply to a cross-border, low-price buy today.
